Bitcoin Drops 11% in Selling By

© Reuters. Bitcoin down 11% in selling – $45,840.6 was trading at 11:07 (15:07 GMT) on the Index on Tuesday, down 11.19% on the day. This is the biggest one-day percentage loss since the seventh of September.

The downward move pushed Bitcoin’s market cap down to $919.1 billion, or 42.58% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. Bitcoin’s market cap is at an all-time high of $1,184.9 billion.

Bitcoin has been trading in a range between $45,840.6 and $52,885.3 in the last 24 hours.

Over the past seven days, Bitcoin has seen an uptick in value, rising by 3.38%. Bitcoin trading volume in the twenty-four hours at the time of writing was $48.7 billion or 29.28% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has been trading in the range from $45,840.6055 to $52,885.3477 in the past seven days.

At its current price, bitcoin is still down 29.23% from its all-time high of $64,778.04 on April 14.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

It was last at $3,440.22 on the Index, down 12.38% on the day.

It traded at $2.2431 on the Index, a loss of 21.52%.

Ethereum’s market cap finally reached $413.9 billion, or 19.18% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Cardano’s market cap was $78.4 billion, or 3.63% of the total cryptocurrency market cap.
